Last minute easy-to-achieve Halloween looks!

Hey everybody!

Happy almost Halloween! This is without doubt my favorite time of the year, I love the atmosphere of Halloween and I love costumes and makeup! So i'm here to give you some ideas of last minute looks that you can throw together with whatever you have lying around at home or that you can access easily! These are some of my favorites I've seen so far this year floating around social media and the beauty of it is all you really need is makeup to complete them and you can make them as simple or as detailed as you want and can totally put your own twist and personality into them! Lets get to it!

1. Feline Make-Up

This has to be one of the easiest go-to looks for Halloween, as you can see from the pictures you can make this as simple or as detailed as you see fit! All you really need is some black eyeliner to draw on your whiskers and nose, do a nice strong feline wing and drag our eye shadow on the inner corner to a point and fill with a light eye shadow to give an almond shape to the eye and make them appear more open! As for a costume all you really need is a pair of leather leggings or pants and a tight black top, add a cat ear headband or a simple eye mask to give a little extra to the costume!

2. Broken Doll

You can really have fun with this costume, totally style it whatever way you want, you could go as a Victorian porclein doll and dress in a cute girly dress or you could make it creepy like the first picture or you could go modern and do a twist on a broken barbie or bratz doll, the beauty of that is you can pretty much wear any outfit already in your wardrobe and it's still so effective! The makeup looks intimidating but it really isn't, just draw a few black "holes" in random areas on your face and focus on drawing vein like lines coming out of them, there is tonnes of really easy-to-follow tutorials on YouTube if you feel stuck!

3. Vampire

This costume is so easy to pull out of the bag! I went twice as a vampire and it's so easy because it's mainly just makeup, use red and black eyeshadows, make it super smokey and blend the red underneath your lower lashline to give it a really smoldering vampy look, add some thin veins coming also underneath your eyes if you want and add some blood dripping out of your mouth, Add some grey shadow to your contour to give a really chiseled dead look and you're done! If you added contact lenses it would really top off the look but if you don't it's going to look just as good! As for costume, again, the world is pretty much your oyster when it comes to who you want your vampire to be! I picked a red corset and leather leggings and i felt it fitted into my look perfectly! You could wear an LBD some killer heels, and maybe even add some netting to your hair to cover half your face and you can be a classy vampire! The possibilities are endless!

4. Zombie/Pop Art Zombie

You can totally shape this makeup to whatever you feel most comfortable with, you can make it as gory or as simple as you like, or if you're feeling brave you can go for the pop art zombie which i love! It really doesn't matter what you wear with this, you can be anything from a nurse zombie to a glamour zombie who was on a night out and got infected, that way if you still want to look a bit glam, you can! you can achieve the standard zombie look with black, red and green eyeshadows, fake blood (or red lipgloss) And again add contacts if you wish! You will need some body paints for the pop art zombie and a few different makeup brushes, but if you can get those supplies it's such a fun different look to go for!

5. Pop Art Comic Girl

You might have seen this look on a lot of YouTube channels lately, It's such a creative look but so easy to achieve, all you need is some eyeliner (black and light blue), lipstick and lashes! Again there is countless tutorials for this look on YouTube that are easy to follow, guaranteed if you go for this look there is no fear of turning up in the same get-up as anybody else!If you wanted to go the extra mile you could purchase a wig or use a temporary hairspray colour in your own hair.

Here are a few of my personal favourite Halloween looks, including one i tried to re-create after watching Desi Perkins "Bride of Frankenstein"

I hope some of these last minute ideas gave some of you inspiration! Halloween is all about having fun and being creative, so enjoy it and have fun with your costume if you're deciding to dress up!
and if you didn't like any of these ideas, you can always just pull a Karen on it!

Have a fun and safe Halloween everyone, until the next time!
